Micro- and Νanoelectronics
The training provides the most fundamental training in physical and mathematical disciplines, compared to other specialties in electronics. Our graduates are able to conduct theoretical and experimental research in micro- and nanoelectronics, design and construct electronic devices and devices of different levels of complexity (from elementary components to ultra-complex systems, including microprocessors and microcontrollers, crystal systems, MEMS / NEMS components), create modern microelectronic information systems, including artificial intelligence, neural networks, wireless sensor networks, e-health system, etc. Students also receive a universal education in computer technology, object-oriented and system programming.
The fundamental training and broad outlook that students receive during their studies allow graduates to easily adapt to the modern world, realize their potential in industry, research and educational institutions, in business in Ukraine and around the world.

Upon admission to the first year, the submission of certificates of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment with the results of external independent assessment is mandatory, except as provided by the Conditions of admission to higher education institutions of Ukraine and other regulations. To enter a higher education institution to obtain the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education, the entrant must submit to the EIA certificates of external evaluation in three competitive subjects. In 2022, certificates of external independent assessment of 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 will be adopted.

Calculation of the competitive score of the entrant:
Competitive score = 0.5 · Mathematics + 0.2 · Physics (foreign language, chemistry, biology, geography, history of Ukraine) + 0.25 · Ukrainian language + 0.05 · AS,
– AS is additional score of the student of preparatory courses of KPI.
Finally, the competitive score is multiplied by the sectoral (SC) and rural (RC) coefficients.
SC = 1.02 (subject to the application for the first or second priority);
RC = 1.05 (for entrants registered in rural settlements and who have completed general secondary education in educational institutions located in villages in the year of entry).
The maximum competition score is 200.
