The Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Biomedical Sensors was created on the basis of an electronic digital laboratory (EDL), which was developed on the basis of patented proprietary technical solutions and software of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The use of the EDL allows the reproduction and processing of experimental results on a personal computer without the use of expensive measuring equipment. The components of the EDL are universal and allow for quick and easy adjustment to a new type of work.
This laboratory uses the EDL equipment to conduct laboratory work for students, complete diploma theses and master’s theses, and also conducts research on medical and general technical sensors in the field of developing primary transducers for diagnosing the function of external respiration, linear velocity meters, differential pressure of fluids and measuring units based on them, etc.
